This pant is the mainstay of hunters across the west and inspired the saying, “Superman wears Sitka Pajamas.” In terms of weight and comfort, you could confuse it for a pajama pant. It’s ultra-breathable and fully gusseted for exceptional range of movement, never bunching in the crotch. But unlike sleepwear, it’s durable. We designed the Ascent Pant for brush busting and built it from rugged, yet quiet, 4-way stretch woven polyester. With articulated knees, it’s shaped for the hunter on the move. Just like the Ascent Jacket, the Ascent Pant expels heat and perspiration to keep you comfortable as you chew through the early season miles. A roll-up snap system keeps your cuffs dry for creek crossings. And as the weather turns, you can layer underneath well into the mid season. A zippered rear pocket, two hip pockets, and easy access cargo pockets offer plenty of space to tuck in the essentials.
