SCARPA Tech Ascent GTX boots

The Scarpa Tech Ascent GTX shoe is inspired by mountain guides and offers everything you’d expect from a boot designed with the climbing world’s elite in mind. The Tech Ascent GTX offers more support than a traditional low-top approach shoe but not at the cost of excess weight. This mid-cut approach shoe is winningly light, precise on technical terrain and yet doesn’t sacrifice the stability you’ll need carrying a heavy load on steep trail or scrambles. The dual-density polyurethane midsole provides great shock absorption but still retain its sensitivity and nimbleness. The Extended Comfort Gore-Tex lining offers excellent breathability and keeps your feet dry in wet conditions, while the mid-cut design and sticky rubber keep you safe from ankle sprains on uneven, rocky terrain. The asymmetrical, to-the-toe lacing system lets you fit the shoe to the shape of your foot and enhances stability when you hit the rock.
